Manufaktura in Nieborów was established in 1881 by Prince Michał Piotr Radziwiłł as a Factory of Artistic Fajans and Tiled Stoves. The Radziwiłł family revived the factory after one hundred years in 2017. The products of the manufacture are marked with the initials of Michał Piotr Radziwił (MPR with the princely miter est. 1881) with the note Majolika Nieborów. They are additionally signed by contemporary project creators. The Midsummer Night's Dream collection: bowls and plates with a moth and dragonfly motif are manufactured by the Nieborów factory especially for the BBHome brand. And it is only available in our stores.
Majolica Nieborów
The Manufacture in Nieborów operates in the same building as a hundred years ago, using traditional technologies and local materials, which makes it unique and the only one in the country. The production process is a handicraft - starting from molding clay or porcelain, through applying ceramic glaze and ending with decorating with majolica or 24 carat gold. The unique advantage of this production method is the individual and unique appearance of each element. Ceramists from Nieborow continue the tradition of craftsmanship, slightly modernizing the nature of the products. They give new colors to historical forms, creating a new artistic value that is friendly to the contemporary recipient.
