Design of an apartment in an old tenement house

The main goal was to create a bright, cozy interior that will not become obsolete in 10 years. The apartment has been designed in a modern style, in which classic finishing elements are combined with designer furniture and details in the Boho style.

Some of the walls are decorated with decorative strips emphasizing the historical character of the tenement house. The floor is covered with a light French herringbone, complemented by sintered marble in the kitchen and bathroom, and the carpeted floor in the children's bedroom. The bright and natural colors of the interior are enlivened by a dark blue upholstered wall in the bedroom and various shades of blue repeated in other rooms.
One of the design features is the abundance of built-in building systems. There are several wardrobes in the corridor. Their spacious, multi-functional interiors, including a washing machine and a utility corner with an ironing board and a place for mops, are hidden behind doors made of tinted mirrors, framed in light metal frames with comfortable handles. Thanks to the mirrored glass panels, the wardrobes seem to be an integral part of the walls. Also in the bedroom there is a place for a small wardrobe.
